Yesterday was an amazing day that reminded me that summer is coming! It consisted of the following: 1. Jamming to One Direction. 2. Deep cleaning the Stake Center. 3. Having a silent auction and eating good food. 4. Going home and cleaning some more. 5. Going to the Color Festival.(Funny story, I didn't have time to shower after the color festival so I didn't even shower until this morning. It was awful.) 6. Sitting on a sidewalk by Kiwi Loco saying outrageous things to passersby. 7. Going to dinner with my family. 8. Going to Taylor's new house and watching Pride and Prejudice, the Mormon, modern day, hilarious version. 9. Going home and tweeting Bailey a million times. 10. Going to sleep. It was a lovely day and it was nice to get a lot of sun. SUMMER IS COMING!!! I'm extremely excited!
Now, on a different note, let me just say, I have the best mother in the world. BIG shout-out to her, this fine Mothers' Day. Mom, you're the greatest person ever and you've taught me a lot of things in my life. I can't even tell you how grateful I am for all that you do. Happy Mothers' Day!
Hello friends! My lovely friends and I decided to start a new blog about our wonderful lives. It's called UBES AWK. Go look at it! And, feel free to follow and comment and such! That'd be cool! Also, the funny thing is, the majority of my current followers are all apart of this blog already, but for those of you other lovely people, go check it out and read about our amazing awkward encounters and such!
I'd be rich if I had a nickel for every time I heard the following: -You laugh a lot. -I love your laugh. -I hate your laugh. -You laugh at everything, even if it's not funny. -You make me feel like I'm funnier than I really am because you laugh at everything.
This week I was sitting in seminary with a killer headache and then this lovely freshman boy walked up to me and said, "Becca, we're all here for you," and he said it in sort of a teasing voice and I kinda laughed a little, because this boy hardly ever talks to me! So the fact that he noticed that I was in such pain, made me really glad. Then he said, "Do you want a piece of gum?" and I kid you not, that completely made my entire day. I told everybody about it because I thought that it was the nicest thing ever. I'm telling you, sometimes the simplest of things can bring the greatest of joy.
Today, church was great. I love my young women's leader, Sister Kinslow. She gave such a great lesson today and I always enjoy her lessons. She is such a good teacher.
I LOVE my family. They are the greatest! Today we got to celebrate my grandma's 83rd birthday. She is the cutest and I'm so glad that she was born! She is so great and she is the funniest person that I know! She's great. In fact, my grandpa says, "Every night, Grandma gives me a kiss before she goes to sleep and I say, 'do you really wanna kiss this ugly face?' and she says, 'I close my eyes.'" Haha. She is wonderful! So, a BIG shout out to her! :)
Anywho, I hope that you've had a wonderful Sabbath. I know that I sure have. Perhaps it is because I woke up this morning and read the New Era. It was so good! It's a good reminder that there are so many good things and resources that we have today to learn more about our Savior and the atonement and I'm glad that we have a living prophet today that can tell us what our Heavenly Father wants us to do. I'm also glad that we have prayer so that we can also receive personal revelation and know what our Heavenly Father wants us to do. Love you all! GOODNIGHT. :)

This has been a really good week. It's been really nice to me, except for the fact that I'm really missing my sleep! WHERE HAVE YOU GONE, SLEEP?!?!?!?!
Oh well, I'll try to get caught up. Tonight. That's why I should go to sleep now.
I LOVE the civil wars. They have the best harmonies and they just kill me! LOVE!!
I know, I know....... People are sick of us Directioners fangirling all over the place, but how can we not? It is impossible. I know that people are sick of it, because I, myself, was determined not to like One Direction so I was one of said "peoples". Why did I not want to like them? Well, because I'm one of those super lame sauce hipsters who doesn't like things that are mainstream. Pathetic? Yes. Also, I get REALLY obsessive.....I was absolutely obsessed with One Republic for two years (until they started getting super popular, which goes back to that pathetic hipsterness) so I felt like I shouldn't even try to love anybody else because it was hard for me to stop being so obsessive over One Republic. I don't know if that makes any sense. Anywho, so I was DETERMINED not to love One Direction. Well, I started watching their video diaries, still refusing to listen to their music, and soon, I got the infection....One Direction infection, that is. Then I started listening to their music and now I am obsessed with it. But, more than that, I'm obsessed with them. Their personalities, their accents, and, obviously, their looks. Although I love them all equally, I do have a special place in my heart for one particular member of One Direction. That band member would be....Niall Horan. HE.IS.GORGEOUS.
He is Irish and he loves to eat. Yep. Love him. Anywho, One Direction. They are great. And there aren't many other things in this world that I love more than reading One Direction Facts and watching their videos. They're absolutely golden! They're funny guys.
Anywho, my life will never be the same. I am a changed person.
Why do I love Gene Kelly? Oh!! I thought you'd never ask! Let me tell you!!! While I'm at it I'll also tell you why I love Donald O'Connor.

Bailey is the type of girl that everybody wants to be best friends with. I like to think that I'm at least in her top 50, so, not to brag, guys, but Bailey considers me a friend. Just sayin! :) Holla!!!!
Bailey and I are the type of friends that would duct tape the other persons pants when they rip in a super inconvenient spot. I don't hate her even though she loves being naked. I also don't hate her even though she hates everything created before the 2000s. (What'er girl, I guess you don't like the fact that your birthday post is being shared with a Gene Kelly post. Sorry. Sups necessary.)
We also have gazillions of inside jokes. Not to mention the fact that we compare everything to Harry Potter, or the fact that we both have bunches of love notes from each other. No biggie.
We like to drink milk from jars. Don't hate. We like to eat Chinese. Food? No. People? Yes. *(This is a joke. We really don't eat people. That is called cannibalism and is frowned upon in most societies.)
I like that she's Canadian. She likes that I'm Asian. *(Once again...a joke. I am not Asian.)
Anywho, we're basically friends who like to jam on the guitar and help each other be the best they can be by sharing our lovely nuggets of wisdom with each other. It's a pretty legit friendship. SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GIRL!!! I'M GLAD THAT YOU WERE BIRTHED THIS DAY SEVENTEEN YEARS AGO!!!!
