Well, the secret's out...

I love dreadlocks. There...I said it.
Don't judge me.
I absolutely love dreadlocks. I think that they are so gorgeous!

I would absolutely love to get dreadlocks. Seriously. But, I'm too scared. CHICKEN PANTS OVER HERE!

Gosh! They're so pretty! Admit it.

PS) If I end up never getting married, (which is how its looking right now) I promise that I'll get dreadlocks. But, only if I never get married. Everybody please pray for me that one day somebody will look past my awkwardness and maybe be able to stand me.

Friday

I'm not very likely to get over Friday. It was one of the greatest days of my life. It consisted of staying in bed all day reading Harry Potter 4 for the millionth time. It was just as good this time. I honestly got out of bed about three times to clean and eat and such. I skipped lunch, though. Then, later that night, I got up. Why? To be productive...

LIES! I got up to watch Downton Abbey..which may be considered to be "productive" but in all honesty...it was just a lazy day. But, can we just take a moment to realize that Downton Abbey is basically the best show ever and I just barely got around to watching it. I love it. Maggie Smith. Uhh..yeah. She is hilarious!

This show honestly just makes me question for the umpteenth time why I was born in this time period and in this country. I do love America and freedom and such, but I would just love to be British, especially in the great olden days. (That makes me sound so ungrateful. I promise, I really am grateful for this country and running water and stuff. Seriously.)

Sorry for the excessive amount of pictures...this show is just too good for words. Now I need to watch season 2.

Anywho, my point is, we all need to have a lazy day once in awhile. It is relaxing and then you feel like you can be productive the next day.

Peace out, homies! Xx

Wow. I'm absolutely honored!!

Well, this is the first time I've ever been tagged in one of these...things (I don't know what else to call it.) It seems like fun, so after I do this one..I'll probably never do one again! Yay! (Also, I'm partially just doing this because Mandi tagged me as "Beccsmeister". Yeah. That's cool.

Well, my biggest love is the Nialler. So, obvs, I say him. Although, it would be fun to go on a date with Louis cause he wants to make a girl laugh so hard that she wets herself. I'm a laugher..so, I'd love it.

2. favorite scripture?
That's a serious toughie. One of my favorites right now is 2 Nephi 4:26.
O then, if I have seen so great things, if the Lord in his condescension unto the children of men hath visited men in so much mercy, why should my heart weep and my soul linger in the valley of sorry, and my flesh waste away, and my strength slacken, because of mine afflictions? And, 28 is a good one, too. He goes on to say:
Awake, my soul! No longer droop in sin. Rejoice, O my heart, and give place no more for the enemy of my soul.

3. favorite store?
     Uhh..Costco? Just kidding. I honestly don't know.

Well, I'm currently re-reading Harry Potter 4 for the trillionth time, but the last book I read all the way through was called Possessing the Secret of Joy. Worst book I've ever read in my life. I would recommend it to absolutely nobody. I just had to read it for a school assignment.

I would have to say the fictional character that I was actually named after! Rebecca from The Work and The Glory books.

10. describe your ideal date.
April 25. It's not too hot and it's not too cold. All you need is a light jacket. (Please tell me you people got that reference.) Honestly, I'm not sure what my ideal date would be. As long as the guy is a gentlemen and makes me laugh, I'm game.

Bizarre Happenings

There are times when I'm halfway between asleep and awake and I see weird things above my head. It's usually just a spider or a spider web and I usually can tell that I'm somewhat awake. So, I just turn on my lamp and examine what is above me. Or, I just reach my hand up to see if there is really anything there. There's never anything there. Hallucinations. Creepy? Yes. But, I've never had anything as scary as what happened to me on Saturday night. Seriously. I can't even...

On Saturday night, on the scale from awake to asleep, I was more on the asleep side. In fact, I'm pretty sure I was all the way asleep. Instead of seeing just a spider web, I saw a hand and it was coming right at me. So, I screamed. The scariest thing in the world is waking up to your own blood-curdling screaming. I screamed about four times and I felt absolutely sick. My parents' room is right across the hallway from me, so my dad bolted right into my room when I was still screaming. He asked me what happened, and I was so shaken, I didn't even know what happened. I just started bawling, my dad gave me a hug and then went back to bed. I left my lamp on and read for awhile to try to calm myself down. I didn't even want to turn my lamp off, so I slept all night with it on.

On Sunday morning, my throat hurt from screaming. I mean, this was loud screaming. LOUD. Everybody in my family asked me why I was screaming that night. I woke everybody up. All of my siblings that sleep in the basement..yes, I woke them up. It was quite scary! I didn't enjoy it at all.

I oughta get myself a dream catcher.

I guess all good things really must come to an end.

And thus ends...the best week of the summer. Yes. Today was the last day of music fest. Last day that I'll ever go to music fest. In my life.

So many good memories. So so SOOOO many inside jokes that aren't even funny. I honestly don't even know what else to say about it. Music fest is honestly the best week of the entire summer. Always. I laugh more than is probably healthy. I laugh so hard that my friends make me go to the bathroom so I don't wet myself. (Yes, I did just share that on the internet. Sorry.)

Anywho, maybe more on that later. Maybe not. Who knows.

One of my favorite songs right now is The Way the War Was Won by Your Vegas. They're super great!

Also, a current favorite album is + by Ed Sheeran.

It is brilliant. If you have not listened to it yet, I suggest that you do. It is so good! I'm currently listening to the song Give Me Love off of this album, but my personal favorite is called The City. Look it up. Listen to it. Love it.

Also, I don't mean to attack you with all of these things at once, but they are all well worth your time. I promise. But, watch this video. You will 1) die from it's greatness. 2) want to watch it over 9,000 times. 3) automatically fall in love with my dear friend Peter Hollens (who is following me on twitter, by the way) and want to watch all of his music videos...and I suggest that you do!

Anyways..please enjoy your lives. Goodnight!

"Will you miss me?" "Only if you LEAVE!"

I was going to write this post yesterday, but I didn't have time. Here it goes.

A few things:

1. Yesterday was my dear little sister's birthday. She is...the BOMB! She turned 12 and she is so great. We're basically best friends and I couldn't have ever asked for a better little sister. She is soo fantastic! We do everything together. In honor of her, here is her current favorite youtube video...which is creepy cause this video is quite disturbing. Oh well, Livie! I love you anyways!

2. Yesterday was also Fathers' Day! What a great holiday, right? Fathers are great. Especially mine. In fact, Bailey once wrote a song about my father in the tune of Hannah Montana's song "Nobody's Perfect." It went a little like this:

             Becca's dad is perfect
             he really works it
again and again and he gets it right.

Uhh...yeah. Beautiful song. It's great and true. Anywho, my dad and I could sit down and listen to music for hours. In fact, a couple weeks ago, I drove to Lake Tahoe with him and back...that was a bunch of hours in the car and when we got home he said that we should've driven the Salt Lake way so that we could've had a couple more hours in the car for listening to music. It was so great! I listen to his old music and he listens to my more current music. So, it was only fitting that I got him an iTunes gift card for Fathers' Day.

3. We went camping last week. It was sooo great! It's been a tradition to go to Henry's Lake for ever. We caught a bunch of fish and also, I got to see my BEST FRIEND! Lauren came with us and she got to meet my crazy family! All of my aunts and uncles and a couple cousins. It was sooooo fun!

Livie even got TWO kisses on the cheeks from these guys^^ for her birthday! Lucky girl!

Also, we eat fish for breakfast. Is that weird? It's never been weird to me cause I've always done it, but I just found out this week that people don't usually do that. Hmm...
