Can we just take a moment?

So, can we just take a moment to discuss the 2012 London Olympics? If you're asking, yes, I am a fan. I've always been a fan of the Olympics. And London. Put the two together and I'm ALL over that! I promise.
K, I know that this is late, but first item of business is definitely the opening ceremony. The queen? Uhm...yes. That's all I have to say. Words can't describe how happy I was with her entrance! Second of all, Mr. Bean playing Chariots of Fire? I was literally rolling on the floor laughing. And, I'm not just misusing the word literally. I honestly fell out of my seat and was on the floor. It was quite a riot. No biggie. I'm a big fan of Mr. Bean and always have been. If you're not a fan of Mr. Bean...I'm not a fan of you. (Just kidding...kinda.) Anywho, next, David Beckham driving the speedboat? Once again, just yes. Yes yes yes. Also, let's talk about Voldemort. Just the fact that he was there was the greatest thing. I was so proud.
In other words, everything about the opening ceremony just rocked my world. Every detail. I just loved it. BIG fan!

I really enjoy watching as many events of the Olympics as I can. I get so into the swimming. Yesterday, while watching Missy Franklin swim I was sitting on the edge of my couch yelling and cheering. It was insanity. I just get so proud of all of the people who win! I get so emotionally invested. I don't know why.
Ryan Lochte. Yes, he's very good looking. That's it.
Beach volleyball. It seriously would murder me. But, America seems to seriously rock at it. Power to ya, people!
And then, let's discuss gymnastics. I love watching gymnastics. Always have. I did gymnastics for a couple years and I was basically boss. Then, my mom made me quit. What'er. Anywho, lets SERIOUSLY talk about this:
All I really have to say about Sam Mikulak is....go team USA. That's all. He's gorgeous. And, look at those muscles. Now that really is all I have to say about the matter.

Sit down and watch the Olympics all day. I dare you! No regrets. Honestly. Happy Olympics, people!!

Why? Because I love you.

Yes, yes..I am sharing this with you because..I love you.

I'm super super excited for the 2012 Summer Olympics that start on Friday. Just sayin.

The more I watch this gem, the more events I hear. It kills me! Please enjoy. I almost wish that the Olympic games were how Dwight wants them. Yet, I'm also very glad that they're not.
Anywho, SUPER EXCITED!

Peace.

Hippo, Fish, and Tilapia

I am so proud. Not lying. At all. My dad just showed me this video. GLORIOUS!

Also, this morning, at work..well, first, let me explain: I work with a little girl named Abby who has down's syndrome. She is so fantastic! Well, today, I couldn't get her to make her bed, so I told her that we could listen to One Direction if she did it. So, she got right up to do it and when we were done she was jumping on her bed, singing, and dancing to One Direction. I was so happy! It was wonderful! She loves the songs One Thing and What Makes You Beautiful and she sings along with all of them! I'm so glad that they make her so happy!

Happy Thursday!

Well, the secret's out...

I love dreadlocks. There...I said it.
Don't judge me.
I absolutely love dreadlocks. I think that they are so gorgeous!

I would absolutely love to get dreadlocks. Seriously. But, I'm too scared. CHICKEN PANTS OVER HERE!

Gosh! They're so pretty! Admit it.

PS) If I end up never getting married, (which is how its looking right now) I promise that I'll get dreadlocks. But, only if I never get married. Everybody please pray for me that one day somebody will look past my awkwardness and maybe be able to stand me.

Friday

I'm not very likely to get over Friday. It was one of the greatest days of my life. It consisted of staying in bed all day reading Harry Potter 4 for the millionth time. It was just as good this time. I honestly got out of bed about three times to clean and eat and such. I skipped lunch, though. Then, later that night, I got up. Why? To be productive...

LIES! I got up to watch Downton Abbey..which may be considered to be "productive" but in all honesty...it was just a lazy day. But, can we just take a moment to realize that Downton Abbey is basically the best show ever and I just barely got around to watching it. I love it. Maggie Smith. Uhh..yeah. She is hilarious!

This show honestly just makes me question for the umpteenth time why I was born in this time period and in this country. I do love America and freedom and such, but I would just love to be British, especially in the great olden days. (That makes me sound so ungrateful. I promise, I really am grateful for this country and running water and stuff. Seriously.)

Sorry for the excessive amount of pictures...this show is just too good for words. Now I need to watch season 2.

Anywho, my point is, we all need to have a lazy day once in awhile. It is relaxing and then you feel like you can be productive the next day.

Peace out, homies! Xx

Well, my biggest love is the Nialler. So, obvs, I say him. Although, it would be fun to go on a date with Louis cause he wants to make a girl laugh so hard that she wets herself. I'm a laugher..so, I'd love it.

2. favorite scripture?
That's a serious toughie. One of my favorites right now is 2 Nephi 4:26.
O then, if I have seen so great things, if the Lord in his condescension unto the children of men hath visited men in so much mercy, why should my heart weep and my soul linger in the valley of sorry, and my flesh waste away, and my strength slacken, because of mine afflictions? And, 28 is a good one, too. He goes on to say:
Awake, my soul! No longer droop in sin. Rejoice, O my heart, and give place no more for the enemy of my soul.

April 25. It's not too hot and it's not too cold. All you need is a light jacket. (Please tell me you people got that reference.) Honestly, I'm not sure what my ideal date would be. As long as the guy is a gentlemen and makes me laugh, I'm game.

Bizarre Happenings

There are times when I'm halfway between asleep and awake and I see weird things above my head. It's usually just a spider or a spider web and I usually can tell that I'm somewhat awake. So, I just turn on my lamp and examine what is above me. Or, I just reach my hand up to see if there is really anything there. There's never anything there. Hallucinations. Creepy? Yes. But, I've never had anything as scary as what happened to me on Saturday night. Seriously. I can't even...

On Saturday night, on the scale from awake to asleep, I was more on the asleep side. In fact, I'm pretty sure I was all the way asleep. Instead of seeing just a spider web, I saw a hand and it was coming right at me. So, I screamed. The scariest thing in the world is waking up to your own blood-curdling screaming. I screamed about four times and I felt absolutely sick. My parents' room is right across the hallway from me, so my dad bolted right into my room when I was still screaming. He asked me what happened, and I was so shaken, I didn't even know what happened. I just started bawling, my dad gave me a hug and then went back to bed. I left my lamp on and read for awhile to try to calm myself down. I didn't even want to turn my lamp off, so I slept all night with it on.

On Sunday morning, my throat hurt from screaming. I mean, this was loud screaming. LOUD. Everybody in my family asked me why I was screaming that night. I woke everybody up. All of my siblings that sleep in the basement..yes, I woke them up. It was quite scary! I didn't enjoy it at all.

I oughta get myself a dream catcher.
